My thinking is this, when an earthquake happens, the tectonic plates underground somewhere shift. They move. Hence causing the ground to move with them.
The after effect of the earthquakes. The tremors. Have you ever sat through one? It’s a weird woobly movement, that is not quite a shake.
Back to the quake, after it has passed technically, I doubt the land in the area affected remains the same. It might look so in the ground level in some cases, but deep down there – stuff has shifted.
So then – WHY THE HECK DO WE EXPECT THINGS TO AUTOMATICALLY GO BACK TO NORMAL WHEN WE GO THROUGH QUAKES IN OUR LIVES???
And this is often perpetuated by well meaning friends who quite frankly are offering lip service into situations they have not a clue about.
Frankly speaking, nkoye sausagi eno! Nji koye ddala!!
Has your opinion been sought? If so, don’t just rush fwaaaa spewing out things. Banange, taking words back, only works in movie-verse – ONLY!! If not, hunama!! Ffera nakyo!
Some of us. We are the reason people are jumping off the deep end. Walking about clueless to the fact that we are literally spreading darkness. You are not a carbon copy that things that worked for you should copy-paste apply in someone else’s life? Fine offer your advice and mooove on! Situations might be similar but insisting that akore ekyi wakora – my friend, gwaani? Are you the editor of life?
Mbwenu! I am annoyed. Just take away.
